DATASTORM is the collaboration of artists Shaun Thurston and CENT.

Shaun Thurston is a Jacksonville native known for creating inventive
paintings, vibrant street art and murals that celebrate the natural world.
His artwork has been included in exhibitions at The Cummer Museum
of Art & Gardens, Art Basel in Miami and featured in Project Atrium at
MOCA Jacksonville with two pieces in the permanent collection. His
murals appear locally throughout Jacksonville, some have become
considered Northeast Florida landmarks characteristic to the region. In
2016, he completed a science-inspired mural on the exterior wall of the
Museum of Science and HIstory.

Thurston’s work can also be seen in prominent locations around
Atlanta, where he spent a few years working with designers and
building scenery for the television/film industry. Through contacts built
in the Atlanta art community, he became involved in live outdoor mural
exhibitions, notably Living Walls and Forward Warrior. Thurston still
maintains strong connections to the area and recently participated in a
2017 group exhibition at Notch 8 Gallery in historic Southeast Atlanta.

A devout lover of nature, Thurston’s murals have primarily featured
flora and fauna, at times rendered with elements that touch on the
dreamlike and otherworldly. The artist is equally known for using these
same themes, albeit on a smaller scale, with his gallery works, which
present landscapes and figures morphed through the revelations of a

CENT One Jacksonville, FL Mark CENT Ferreira is a Graffiti writer,
Contemporary Artist and Graphic Designer based in Jacksonville,FL.
His work is typography oriented with works of traditional graffiti and
characters. Working prodominatly in aerosol he’s Inspired by Geometry,
mid century design and comics.
